Huda Community Centre opened its doors in 2009, right in the heart of Newtown, Birmingham, a locale renowned for its cultural vitality. The city of Birmingham, historically significant for its diversity, is home to a flourishing Muslim community.
Since our foundation, Newtown has witnessed commendable shifts in socio-economic dynamics. Crime rates have plummeted by 30%, and graduation rates have climbed, moving from 60% in 2009 to an impressive 85% in 2023. Birmingham's socio-economic landscape has been reshaping, and while we approach these changes with humility, we at Huda Community Centre are optimistic that our contributions have made a positive impact.
In light of the challenges Newtown faces, Huda Community Centre has taken a proactive stance.
